Revelation 20 Messiah's Millennial Kingdom Pt 1 ©2019 WF Cobb Truthbase.net DailyTruthbase.blogspot

I. The OT predicted a future everlasting kingdom on the earth.   Job 19:25 Redeemer lives and will stand on earth at last day

Isa 9:6 unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; the government will be upon His shoulder. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Ezk 37:21 says YHWH GOD: I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever...will gather them and bring them into their own land; 22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on mountains of Israel; and one King shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations 23 They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols/detestable things/transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God. 24 David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them. 25 Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever. 26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore. 27 My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 28 The nations also will know that I, YHWH, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.

Dan 7:13I watching..One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, they brought Him near before Him. 14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed

II. The NT opens with a call to repentance in light of future kingdom of God on earth. It ends with a glimpse of K and new Heavens/Earth

Isa 40:1 Comfort, yes, comfort My people! Says your God. 2 Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, her warfare is ended, her iniquity is pardoned; for she has received from the LORD's hand double for all her sins. 3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the LORD; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God – valley/mountain, cooked straight, rough smooth 5 The glory of YHWH shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

7 Surely the people are grass. 8 grass withers, flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever. 9 Say to Judah, "Behold your God!"  10 Behold, YHWH GOD shall come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him. 11 He will feed His flock like a shepherd; 22 It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, spreads them out like a tent to dwell. 23  He brings the princes to nothing; Ps 2 He makes the judges of the earth useless. 24 Scarcely planted...blow on them, wither, and the whirlwind will take them away like stubble. 25 To whom liken/shall I be equal? says the Holy One. 26 Lift up your eyes...see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, by the greatness of His might and the strength of His power; not one is missing

Mk 1; Mt 3:1 John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 saying: Repent, for The Kingdom of  the HeavenS is at hand!

3 For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: The voice of one crying in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the LORD; Make His paths straight.' (Lk 3:6 and all flesh shall see the salvation of God) 5 Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him 6 and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins. 7 Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism.. Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, 9 do not think to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 10 even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees.  every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water eis  repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier..He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. (Lk 3:10 what shall we do? {BC-stop living as if this world is the only one, but start living to be blessed in the coming one})

13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to be baptized by him. 14 John tried to prevent Him, saying: I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?" 15 But Jesus answered and said to him: Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness. 16 When He had been baptized, up from the water; heavens were opened, he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased."

Lk 7:27 of whom it is written: I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 28 Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he. You."

Rev 11:15 7th angel: kingdom of this world has become The Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!

III. The Kingdom is not Heaven, (just like the K is not God), nor in your heart, but the kingdom that comes from the HeavenS

A. Ser on Mount is not about justification/forgiveness but reward Mt 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, theirs is The Kingdom of The HeavenS. 4 comforted 5 inherit the earth 6 hunger and thirst for righteousness, they shall be filled 8 pure in heart...shall see God 9 called sons of God 10 persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is The Kingdom of The HeavenS 12 rejoice great is your reward in the heavens

9 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called LEAST in The Kingdom of The HeavenS; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called GREAT in The Kingdom of The HeavenS.

46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

6:1 give...no reward from Father in heaven 4 reward you. 5 pray...reward you openly. 9 Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

B. 10 Your Kingdom come: Your will be done on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN  13 Yours is the Kingdom, power and glory forever

15 not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. 16 fast, no reward 18 reward you openly.

19 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven 21 treasure is, there your heart will be also.

33 seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you 34 don't worry about tomorrow,

C. Not Forgiveness 7:13 Enter Kingdom by narrow gate; wide is gate and broad the way that leads to destruction, there are many who go in by it. 14 'cse narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life (Dominion of The Age) and there are few who find it

19 Every tree that doesn't bear good fruit is cut down thrown into fire. 21 Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter The Kingdom of the HeavenS, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied/cast out demons/done many wonders in Your name? 23  I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!

D. Not within you Lk 17:20 Pharisees: when kingdom of God would come? The kingdom of God not come with observation;  nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within/midst you (Mt 23:26 cup)  24 as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day. 25 But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26 as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the Days of the Son of Man: 29 the day Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.  30 Even so will it be in the Day when the Son of Man is revealed (1Pt 1). 33 Whoever seeks to save his life/soul will lose it, whoever loses his life/soul will preserve it.

E. Yet Future Acts 1:3 presented Himself alive after His suffering many infallible proofs, being seen 40 days and speaking of the things pertaining to The Kingdom of God. 4 wait for the Promise of the Father...heard from Me Jn 14;16; 5 John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." 6"Lord, will You at this time restore The Kingdom to Israel?

F. Account Lk 19:11 He spoke another parable, 'cse He was near Jerusalem and because they thot The Kingdom of God would appear immediately 15 when he returned, having received the kingdom...called his servants, given money, called to know how much every man had gained trading

G. No Mystery form of mystery kingdom Mt 13:11 He answered: it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven

Mk 4:11 to you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables

H. Obey Big Two Mk 12:34 Jesus saw he answered wisely:"You are not far from The Kingdom of God." But after that no one dared question Him

Mt 11:12 from days of John Baptist until now The Kingdom of the HeavenS suffers violence, and the violent snatch it away by force.

I. YEAH! Rev 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and The Kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

IV.  Millennial Reign of Jesus/Christ-Messiah is literally a thousand years on the earth, and not the Eternal State (qv Rev 21 new H&E)

Rev 20:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ Ezk 45 life in Kingdom and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.

9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. 10 The devil, who deceived them1Pt 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
