Q1 Why is it important to take every thot captive? (see Ain't Gonna Reign No More -Rm 6 on Truthbase.net)

A1 Taking every thot captive (inner convo can adversly affect rlshps by imagining that fantasy/dialogue is real)

Multitude of counselors to test/validate thots against Revealed Truth and reality and reason. Benefit of Body.

Pr 24:6 by wise counsel you will wage your own war, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety. Cf Gal 6

2Cor 10:4 the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,

bringing every thot into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

6 and being ready to punish all indiv disobedience when your corporate obedience is fulfilled. Cf 1Cor 11

Q2 Liking vs Loving. Is it ok to dislike someone?

A2 Do you have to like your enemies who are slandering/persecuting/killing you?

Mt 5:44 love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you 35...kind to the unthankful and evil.

Lev 19:18 You shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

*Amos 5:21 God hates & despises hypocrisy; reject-devalue #reject

Q2b Love the sinner (misses the mark or trespass/break a law) and hate the sin? [not in Bible]

A2b Ps 15:1 Lord who may dwell/abide...sacred tent/holy mountain?

2 The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous,

who speaks the truth from their heart

3 whose tongue utters no slander/backbite,

who does no wrong to neighbor,

            and casts no slur/scorn on others;

4 who despises* a vile# person but honors those who fear the Lord

Does God or Jesus like evil/rebellious people?

There are rules of engagement / fellowship in both OT & NT particularly (Proverbs/Psalms Deuteronomy) as well as the examples.

Can two walk together unless they be agreed?

What fellowship or commonality does light have with darkness?

If a person consistently rejects light

and stays in the dark what fellowship can we have with them?

A humble learner is way different from a proud accuser/slanderer (speak against)

as shown by how receptive they are to Biblical truth

                        that clashes with their preconceptions.

Those unsanctified believers who love/seek to please themselves rather than God, are rebels, resisting the Holy Spirt as did God's people in the OT, and will reap inevitable just judgment.

Acts 7:51 You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! (neither hear nor value God's Truth)

You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.

Phil 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed...

work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

14 Do all things without complaining and disputing,

15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a          crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

16 holding fast/fleshing out the Word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ

that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

Ps 5:4 For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness,  Nor shall evil dwell with You.

5 The boastful shall not stand in Your sight;  You hate all workers of iniquity.

6 You shall destroy those who speak falsehood;

The LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

Pr 3:32 the perverse/devious person is an abomination to the LORD, but His secret counsel is with the upright.

34 Surely He scorns the scornful, but gives grace to the humble.

Ps 139:19 Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God!

Depart from me, therefore, you bloodthirsty men.

20 For they speak against You wickedly;

Your enemies take Your name in vain/to no effect/unprofitable/nominal

21  Do I not hate them, O LORD, who hate You?

And do I not loathe/grieved those who rise up/rebel against You?

22 I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them my enemies.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;

24 And see if there is any wicked/sorrowful/idol way in me,

and lead me in the way everlasting.

1Cor 5:9 I wrote not to associate with immoral 11 do not to keep company,

if any  is called a brother is immoral,

    or covetous/greedy, or an idolater, or a railer/slanderer, or a drunk, or an extortioner;

            with such don't even eat

12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without?

Are you not to judge them that are within?

13 But them without God judges.

Therefore expel/put away from among yourselves that annoying/pain person

Mt 18:17 if  neglect to hear them, tell the church: if neglect hearing the church,

be to you as an heathen and corrupt IRS.

Rm 16:17 mark them cause divisions and offences

cx to the doctrine which you have learned; and avoid them.

2Th 3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

            that you withdraw yourselves

from every brother that walks disorderly/out of line/rank,

and not after the tradition which he received of us.

2Th 3:14  if any disobey our word by this epistle,

note that man, and have no company with him, that may be ashamed

1Tim 6:5 constant friction/disputings of men of corrupt minds,

and destitute of the truth...from such withdraw

2Jn 1:10 If there come any to you, and bring not this doctrine (of Christ returning and rewarding v8), don't welcome him into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 or you share in their wicked work

Mt 5:22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother

                         w/o a cause

shall be in danger of the judgment

Q3 What is a Biblical Philosophy of Speech?

Rubric:  Commands to imitate God (walk in love), Jesus, Paul... (every idle word Mt 12:36)

A3  Purpose of speech is to express Truth that accomplishes God's objectives from glorifying Him, to building up others (imparting grace/power via teaching, encouragement, reproof/rebuke {highlighting sin}, correction, etc 2Tim 3:16). Satan deals in deceptive lies (kept in the dark to shoot at the upright in heart) that harm.

Pr 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

Ps 141:3 Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.

4 Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with men who work iniquity; and do not let me eat of their delicacies. 5 Let the righteous strike me; it shall be a kindness. and let him rebuke me; it shall be as excellent oil; let my head not refuse it. Because still my prayer is against the deeds of the wicked.

Eph 4:1 walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

2 with all humility and meekness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love

3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

7 But to each one of us grace was given acc to the measure of Christ's gift.

22 put off, former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt acc to the deceitful lusts

23 be renewed in the spirit of your mind  24 put on...true righteousness and holiness

 25  putting away lying,

"Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.

26 "Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath,

27 nor give place to the devil.  28...have something to give him who has need.

29 Let no corrupt/unfruitful word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking

be put away from you, with all malice.

32 And be kind/benevolent to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another,

even as God in Christ forgave you.

5:1 Be imitators of God 2 walk in love

Mt 12:34 out of the abundance of the heart mouth speaks.

36 But I say to you that for every idle/unprofitable word men may speak,

they will give account of it in the day of judgment  (fear of God anyone?)
37  by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned

Q4. Share Truth with Family?

How do you know....(what's True; Purpose of life; past-future; why & how to live)?

Only way finite beings can know infinite Truth (valid across time & culture)

is if an Inifinte Being reveals it to them.

Is there a God who can Walk (act) and Talk (communicate-

reveal what we need to know in a way we can understand)? (all grace to know/do His will

Power to create & communicate intelligably and preserve

if essential for creatures to know if judged by it.

Is God's Revelation reliable? [See 7QUESTIONS on DailyTruthbase.blog]

Q5. Should people judge?  Prerequisites: Mt 7 Remove own log; maturity;

Col 3:16 Word dwelling in richly; Discernment Heb 5; Submission; etc

A5. 1Cor 2:14 But the natural man does not receive/accept the things of the Spirit of God,

for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.

We judge (& reject/sin cx) others with worldly/familial values

for security and significance (commonality ? threat) cz we're in-secure.

Biblical/True security & significance is only found in receiving worth & value

from faithfully pleasing God (and know/feel His pleausre w/ us)

4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes,

who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one's praise will come from God.

5:12 Do you not judge those who are inside?

Rm 14:4 Who are you to judge another's servant?

To his own master he or falls....God is able to make him stand.

Q6. Trusting God and others TRUST and friendships.  See TOYL Biblical Friendships

Secular/worldling trust is unconditional acceptance and affirmation of even deadly thinking/acts  cx 1Tim 4:5

“You won't do/say anything that makes me feel uncomfortable in my sin (stupidity?)

vs Faithful are the wounds of a sharpening friend  Pr 27:6,17

Sacred trust is rooted in relationship with trust in God's

sovereign orchestration of all for my highest good. Anything less is demonic destruction

Grumbling rooted in (unexpressed=demonic) discontent

with what our sovereign Lord has allowed for our blessing/benefit 1Cor 10

Means vs Manner  We focus on the manner

rather than the content cz guilt/blame makes up incapable of HS conviction/repentance.

Rebuke (convict/correct/shame 1Tim 5:20) sharply (cut/gladiator)

so that they will be sound in the faith; Titus 1:13; 3:10*

Foolish, unprofitable, unruly, vain, striving, liars/deceived deniers#,

            human 'truth', stained/polluted/defiled #'mind-deceiver' & conscience

*half-truths to win over to personal misimpressions creating divisons Hub  WordHelps

Let the Righteous strike-rebuke me would be a kindness Ps 141:5

False prophets/teachers “only speak nice and pleasant words”  to tickle ears 2Tim4.

Carnal people want to follow demonic deceptions.

Isa 30:10  to the seers, “See no more visions!” to the prophets,

“Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions. NIV

Don’t tell us what is right. Tell us nice things. Tell us lies. NLT 11 cause God to cease before us!!

1Kg 22:8 I hate him; for not prophesy good  concerning me, but evil.

Gal 4:16 become your enemy (love enemy anyone??) by telling you truth? cf Eph 4:15

Q7. Where are all the faithful men? Pt 2
