I. Christ's Resurrection is a World Changer affecting our purposes, actions, interactions, responses and ambitions in life
1 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4 And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.

2Cor 5:17  if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Gal 6:15
Rm 8:11..if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you...will also give life to your mortal bodies thru His Spirit who dwells in you

II. Truth best Explains all the Facts found at the convergence of Revelation, Reason, and Reality. Check it out.
5 But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

1Cor 15:3 Christ died for our sins acc to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day acc to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen by Cephas/Peter, then by the twelve. 6 After that He was seen by over 500 brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. 7 After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.

III. A Relationship with God starts and continues with faithful obedience to His revealed will. There is no other way.
7 And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you." 8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.  9 And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me." cf Mt 26:32

Jn 14:23 Jesus answered  "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me

IV. The light of the Truth will always be opposed by dark demonic lies (not die; wrong tomb; disciples stole body; etc.)
11 Now while they were going, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all the things that had happened. 12 When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, 13 saying, "Tell them, 'His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.' 14 And if this comes to the governor's ears, we will appease him and make you secure." 15 So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

Pr 17:4 An evildoer gives heed to false lips; A deceiver/liar listens eagerly to a spiteful tongue.  Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

V. Worship is a Response to Revelation demonstrating that God is worthy of all we can give Him, especially our obedience
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. Mt 5-7; 26:32  Acts 1:1-12
17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him Mt 4:10; 5:2; 9:18; 14:33; 15:25; but some wavered/doubted. 14:31

Jn 5:21 as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. 22 For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23 that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. 24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25...the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27 and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man Dan 7:13-14.  28...the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth: those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. Eph 2:8-10

VI. Immersing folks in the name/power of the Triune God and teaching them to obey deepens our intimacy with God
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 Therefore as you go make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
20 teaching them to obey all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

2Tim 2:1  be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. 3 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.

Questions for Reflection/Discussion/Response:

1. How has your rlshp with God changed your world?
2. What difference has the Holy Spirit made in your life?
3. How does obedience enter into your worship of God?
4. How do you go about making disciples?
5. What do you teach others?
