Jude13 Lunatic Lordship (Man-Centered) Salvation Part 2

(c)2019 WF Cobb Truthbase.net  DailyTruthbase.blogspot

I. God's objective is to bring about forgiven (redeemed/reconciled/justified), holy/saints (sanctified), who can be rewarded (glorified) epi (basis of) their HS motivated faithfulness, thus glorifying God when He gives them earned glory of The Age.

Both “Lordship-Fee Grace” and “Free Grace” want to have believers live in conformity to God's revealed will but which is Scriptural?

III-B. Repent is never used in the Epistles (1x Paul); nor John's gospel; 5x of believers in Rev, re glorification where conseq is loss of reward

Repentance (mind change re Messiah Isa 40:10) is in light of the Promised Mill Kingdom to Day of Atonement Jews, re temporal wrath (Lk 3)

Mt 3:2; 4:17; 5:3 Ser on Mt=differentially blessed in Kingdom; 10:7 apostles; Mk 1:15 of God, Repent & Believe the Gospel; Lk 10:9 of God; Acts 1:3 speaking of Kingdom; 6 restore Kingdom to Israel; The Kingdom of/sourced in the HeavenS, was that spoken of by Isaiah, ie, the Reign of the Messiah/God on earth!

Has come near/at hand=Pft Act Ind (17x). Can't=Heaven has arrived, for that would mean they are all about to die.

Kingdom of HeavenS = Kingdom of God and is NOT Kingdom which is God nor which is Heaven. So issue isn't forgiveness/avoiding Lake of Fire Rev

Mt 6 Father in heaven...Thy kingdom come; (which is when) Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Which differentiates Kingdom & Heaven.

Mt 13:15 people’s heart...dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.   A. 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. B.  20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles  C. 22 received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. D, 23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty

IV-B. To the Praise of His glory Eph 1:4 just as He chose us in Him (corporate Body of which He is the Head)  before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (as He is holy–which doesn't happen unless we obey, purpose/eis most of NT teaching -the obedience sourced in faith) and without blame before Him in love (which most self-centered immature carnal believers don't do 1jn 1Cor 3; and for which all will be judged 2Cor 5 etc which occurs deferentially), 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons (differ from child – Rm 8; Gal 2) by Jesus Christ to Himself, acc to the good pleasure of His will (which can be resisted -God wants all to be saved; Jerusalem chicks), 6 to the praise of the glory (note what's being manifested and praised) of His grace by which He made us accepted in the Beloved (in union with Christ-the True Vine Jn 15-keep yourself in the love of/toward God Rm 9; our blameless acceptance is only achieved by abiding in Him and His Words in us).

7 In (union with) Him we have redemption thru His blood/cross; (like Israel after Passover lamb sacrifice 1Cor 5:7 btw, we must purge the leaven), the forgiveness of sins (forgiveness=redemption), acc to the riches of His grace  8 which He made to abound toward us in/by all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery (ch 3 Jew & Greek equal share in Kingdom) He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both...

11 In Him also (note that this is separate from redemption/forgiveness) we have obtained an inheritance (reward of sons), being predestined acc to the purpose of Him who works all things acc to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; (justification-sanctification-glorification) in whom also, having believed ptcp,  you were sealed (ownership/security Rm 4:11 circum-righteousness) with the Holy Spirit of promise,

14 who is the guarantee (bad translation: earnest=downpayment) of our inheritance (reward not forgiveness) until the redemption (glorification of our bodies Rm 8) of the purchased possession (His ownership of us thru cross-bought with a price), to the praise of His glory.  15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints...

Eph 2:1 you who were dead in/by trespasses and sins, cx orig sin and Calvinism 2 in which you once walked acc to the course of this word, acc to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, cf Acts 26:19 power of satan to God 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature/consequently children of wrath (5:6;no inheritance; cf Col 3:6.8 put off'; JC saves from it -Jn 3:36;Rm 5:9 after being justified by blood), just as the others. 4 But God, who is rich in  mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ {Col 2:13 having forgiven/graced you all trespasses} (by grace you are pres ind having been saved pft pass ptcp,  6 and raised us aor (fut Rev 10:7) up together, and made us sit  aor together 12 thrones Mt 19:28 in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches 1:7,18; 3:8,16; Col 1:27 of His grace in His beneficence toward us in (union with) Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace (f) you are having been saved thru faith (f),  and that (neuter)  not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

3:8...preach unsearchable richeS of Christ, 9 and to make all see what is the fllshp/participation in the mystery...10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, 11 acc to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence thru faith in Him.

4:1 therefore, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling..bearing with one another in love..keep the unity....one Lord..faith..baptism  14 should no longer be children..., that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, 18 having their understanding darkened... being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; 19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to wanton caprice, to work all uncleanness with greediness  20 But you have not so learned Christ, 21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put off aor mid, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt pres pass acc to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed pres mid in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on aor mid the new man which was created acc to God 2:15, in true righteousness and holiness. 25 Therefore, putting away aor mid lying, "Let each one of you speak pres act imp truth with his neighbor," for we are pres ind members of one another. 27 Neither give place to the devil pres act imp

5:5  no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them.

1Cor 5:11 written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner --- not even to eat with such a person. 13 Therefore put away from yourselves the wicked person  (fellowship vs forgiveness)

6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you washed aor mid, but you were sanctified, aor but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
